ClaimSorted is looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our talented Claims Department. This person will lead a team of expert Claims Handlers, ensuring top performance levels for the business and our customers. They will be responsible for driving high performance against team and individual KPIs, including quality, productivity and customer satisfaction. More at: .ResponsibilitiesLine management of a team of Claims Handlers, including all HR and Performance managementDrive top performance and KPI achievement in your teamClaims workflow allocation and capacity planning to achieve high productivity and quality results for customersQuality Assurance checks and coaching to improve quality of claims handlingMaintain detailed and robust oversight of the claims portfolio, including the escalation of any risksManagement of a small portfolio of insurance claims to maintain your technical claims handling expertiseSkills and Experience requiredA minimum of 3 years experience in an Insurance Claims Leadership Role managing +8 Direct ReportsPrevious experience leading in a start-up high-growth companyDeep expertise claims handling and insurance best practicesAbility to use data to drive understanding and decision makingExperience coaching colleagues to achieve improved quality and productivityAbility to inspire and achieve top performance from your teamHighly organised and able to self-prioritise workload for the benefit of business and customerA team player, always willing to support colleagues to achieve the right resultsPerksGenerous, transparent compensation & equity30 days of remote work abroad annually28 days of leave annuallyHealth InsuranceTraining budgetCompany offsitesBe part of a passionate team solving hard problemsWork closely with founders and learn how to scale a startup from 0 to 1
