This is a freelance opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a critical project in Shrewsbury, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery throughout.The RoleYoull be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of mechanical works on site, coordinating labour and subcontractors while working closely with the wider project team in a live hospital environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise mechanical operatives and subcontractors on siteCoordinate daily activities to meet programme and quality requirementsEnsure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and RAMSMaintain strict health 'safety standards in a live healthcare settingLiaise with the Project Manager, site teams, and hospital stakeholdersOversee quality control, snagging, and support testing & commissioningManage materials, deliveries, and site logisticsWhat Were Looking ForProven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on construction or energy projectsStrong background in HVAC, pipework, plant rooms, or mechanical installationsExperience working in live environments (healthcare highly desirable)Confident managing labour, subcontractors, and site activitiesSMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and relevant mechanical qualificationsThe Package280 - 300per day CISFreelance contractEarly February start through to April 2026Opportunity to work on a high-profile, technically challenging healthcare projectJBRP1_UKTJ
