Our Edge of Care Service was recently a finalist for Team of the Year at the Social Worker of the Year Awards 2025, and were proud to offer a supportive, forward-thinking environment for our staff.Location: Shropshire, SY1 9LJResponsibilities: Maintain high standards of personal performance with the support of your Team Manager Undertake assessments informed by direct work with children and families Progress care and pathway plans, ensuring timely access to services Complete statutory visits to children at home, in foster care, and residential settings Manage cases and coordinate meetings (care planning, risk management, placement stability, PEPs, reviews) Provide advice and information to children and families Handle court work related to revocation of care orders, SGO, and placement orders Participate in the teams duty system Maintain accurate records in line with policies and procedures Work collaboratively with parents, guardians, and professionals If you thrive to make a difference and have 3 years Social worker experience and this is the role for you, then we would love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
