We’re working with a growing FCA-regulated business in Leeds to find an ambitious Finance Analyst/Purchase Ledger Specialist who wants to own their numbers while getting exposure to management accounts, MI, and analysis.You’ll hit the ground running managing purchase ledger and transactional finance tasks, but you’ll also have the chance to work closely with the Financial Director and Finance Manager to dig deeper into profitability, trend analysis, and business performance.If you want a role where you’ll learn fast, grow quickly, and actually make an impact, this one’s for you.What You’ll Be DoingTake full ownership of the purchase ledger: invoice processing, weekly payment runs, and reconciliations.Manage credit card expenses, accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset registers.Reconcile monthly underwriter floats and claims.Support month-end close, ensuring ledgers are accurate and audit-ready.Work closely with the Financial Director to analyse performance and identify trends.Support the production of management accounts and FCA reporting.Gain exposure to business performance analysis and strategic financial insightWhat We’re Looking ForHave experience managing the purchase ledger and transactional finance.Can confidently walk through reconciliations, debits, credits, and ledger processes.Are comfortable with Excel (VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, pivots).Are curious, switched on, and eager to grow into analysis and management reporting.Ideally have experience in an FCA-regulated or financial services environment (but not essential if you’ve got the right mindset).What’s In It for You£26,000 – £30,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)9am–5pm (flexible)25 days + birthday + bank holidaysFree AA insuranceFree Keycare coverPrivate medical coverDebt service insuranceBe part of a close-knit, high-performing finance team where your work genuinely matters.Why You’ll Love ThisThis is a transforming finance function.
