Job Description HGV Class 1 DriverNight ShiftLocation Shepton Mallet BA4Salary - 17.50 per hourShift pattern/days worked Monday - Friday, 7pm start timeWe're looking for qualified and experienced HGV class 1 drivers for regular work on an ongoing Monday to Friday basis, completing night shifts.The role is HGV 1 night trunking role colleting palletised goods for delivery the next day.Key tasks:Trunk run on behalf on the Pallet ExSafely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locationsSupervise the loading of palletised goodsPlan route making sure pallets are strapped down correctlyAdhere to all traffic laws and regulationsInspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasksMaintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumptionCommunicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveriesRequirements:Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) 2 years minimum experienceProven experience as a truck driver with multi drop experience of palletised goodsAbility to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailersExcellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesStrong communication and customer service skillsYou will need to complete a 2 hour induction and assessment before starting.Ongoing work for the right candidateIf you feel you are the right fit for this role and you are looking for consistent ongoing work, click apply and somebody from Pin Point Recruitment will give you a call to discuss this role further.JBRP1_UKTJ
