About the Role As an HGV Class 2 Driver , youll be working as part of a dedicated crew, carrying out kerbside household waste and recycling collections across the local area. This role involves both driving and loading , so youll need to be comfortable with manual handling and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle in residential areas. Assist with the collection and loading of household waste and recycling. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects. Ensure work is completed efficiently and in line with Health & Safety standards. Deliver excellent service to the local community. Requirements: Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) License CPC Qualification Digital Tachograph Card Previous experience in waste or recycling driving is beneficial but not essential full training provided. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work outdoors and assist with loading duties. What Youll Get: Competitive hourly rate of 16.00-17.00ph Overtime paid after 40 hours .
