Toddler Room Leader

Location: The Little Boat Nursery, 50 Sheep Walk, Shepperton TW17 0AJ Hours: Full-time About Us: Our Toddler Room is a lively, exploratory space where curiosity and independence begin to bloom. At The Little Boat Nursery , we believe in learning through play, discovery, and building confidence in a safe and supportive environment. Role Overview: We are looking for a creative and energetic Toddler Room Leader to plan and deliver exciting, developmentally appropriate activities. Youll lead your team to foster independence, language development, and social skills while ensuring every childs unique needs are met. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily running of the Toddler Room, ensuring a fun, safe, and stimulating environment. Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging activities aligned with EYFS learning goals. Support toddlers growing independence with toilet training, feeding, and dressing. Observe, assess, and track progress for each child. Lead and motivate your team to deliver high-quality practice. Work closely with parents to share progress and discuss individual needs. Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health 'safety, and hygiene standards. Requirements: Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above). Experience in a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner role. Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and child-led learning. Strong organisational and communication skills.
