The role involves working across occupied and void properties in South Yorkshire, with a primary focus on replacing and installing fire doors to meet current fire safety standards. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and experienced joiner looking for long-term, stable work with a well-established organisation that values quality and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesRemove and install fire doors in line with fire safety standards. Carry out associated joinery tasks such as fitting frames, architraves, and ironmongery. Work independently across domestic properties, ensuring a high standard of finish. Communicate professionally with tenants and housing staff. Use a PDA or job management system to log completed work.RequirementsNVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery. Proven experience fitting fire doors in residential or social housing settings. Full UK driving licence. Good understanding of fire door installation to meet safety standards. Ability to work in occupied homes with professionalism and care. DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
