You’ll work on highly specialised and complex projects, guiding both design and delivery while mentoring the next generation of engineers.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, analysis, and delivery of mechanical systems including structural elements, machinery, actuation and drive systemsOversee compliance, safety assurance, and engineering governance across the full product lifecycleDefine, verify and validate engineering requirements across disciplinesMentor and develop engineers, fostering technical growth and high-quality project outcomesManage technical risk and ensure alignment with standards, regulations, and internal processesAbout YouDegree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in a relevant engineering disciplineChartered Engineer (or demonstrably working toward it)Deep expertise in mechanical and structural systems, such as lifting equipment, cranes, bespoke handling systems, or high-integrity moving structuresStrong background in compliance-led environments and multidisciplinary project deliveryProven ability to evaluate complex problems and develop high-quality technical solutionsConnected Search Group is an equal opportunities employer.
