We are committed to delivering high-quality services across domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors.Role DescriptionWe are seeking an Estimator to join our dynamic team in South Yorkshire. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our project planning and execution by accurately estimating costs and ensuring projects align with our mission of delivering exceptional projects. The Estimator will analyse project requirements, prepare accurate cost estimations, and compile tender submissions for . Responsibilities include communicating with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, reviewing project specifications and drawings, and providing advice on cost-effective and efficient solutions. The role also involves maintaining detailed records of estimates and project documentation and collaborating with internal teams to support project delivery.ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical building service projects from minor works to million pound plus projectsAnalyse project specifications and requirements to determine accurate pricingCollaborate with project/contract managers and engineers to ensure alignment on project scopeMonitor market trends and material costs to provide competitive estimatesAssist in preparing bid proposals for new projectsMaintain accurate records of estimates and project costsProvide support during the negotiation phase with clientsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the estimating processQualificationsYOU MUST HAVE - Proven experience as an Estimator in the Mechanical Building Services/HVAC services industryAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standardsStrong understanding of cost control principles and practicesExcellent analytical skills with attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlinesProficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work collaboratively within a team environmentStrong communication skills to liaise with all stakeholdersRelevant qualifications or certifications are preferred.Knowledge of Health & Safety standards and regulatory compliance within the construction and HVAC industryProactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a teamRelevant academic or vocational qualifications in HVAC/Plumbing are a plus.BenefitsCompetitive Salary depending on skills and experience8am-5pm working hours, Monday to FridayFlexible working options - Office-based with hybrid workingCompany pension25 Days Leave plus Bank holiday entitlementPerformance bonusCompany Car optionMobile Phone & Laptop providedNO AGENCIES AT THIS TIME - THANK YOU
