Job Description Technical Specialist - MetallurgistSheffield but open to applicants further afield with the ability to WFH and travel for customer visits as required.Travel is essential in this role.Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a leading manufacturing business based in Sheffield who are looking for a Technical Expert to join their team as a Process Metallurgist.This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where youll use your stainless steel expertise to help production teams and clients get the best results.As a Process Metallurgist you will be:-Provide technical guidance and support to customers and production teams.-Help optimise manufacturing processes and improve product quality.-Investigate issues, find root causes, and recommend solutions.-Support new product developments and trials.-Communicate complex metallurgy concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.What Were Looking For:-Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science/Engineering or similar.-Strong experience with austenitic stainless steels and machinability.-Previous technical customer-facing experience.-Hands-on experience in manufacturing or machining is a plus.-Willing to travel in the UK and occasionally internationally.Please reach out to [email protected] for more information.
