Job DescriptionCorporate Account Handler Leading Independent Broker Sheffield (Hybrid Working up to 3 Days from Home)Salary: Up to 43,000 + Excellent Benefits PackageWere proud to be working in partnership with one of Yorkshires most respected and progressive insurance brokers, currently seeking an experienced Corporate Account Handler to join their brand-new Sheffield office conveniently located near the M1.This role has become available due to an internal promotion, a testament to the companys commitment to developing and progressing its people. With a stellar reputation as an employer of choice in the region, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team at a time of exciting growth.The Role:Youll be working closely with two Account Directors, supporting a diverse portfolio worth approximately 2.5 million GWP. The book covers a broad mix of commercial risks and industry sectors, offering a varied and rewarding workload.Key Responsibilities:Provide responsive and professional support to clients, maintaining exceptional service standardsManage all aspects of policy renewals, mid-term adjustments, and documentationLiaise with insurers to negotiate favourable terms and ensure comprehensive coverReview policy wordings and ensure all documentation is accurate and FCA-compliantSupport new business broking and onboarding processesContribute to internal best practice sharing and support less experienced team membersUse Acturis and other systems to manage client workflows and documentationAbout You:Proven experience in commercial or corporate insurance account handlingStrong technical understanding of commercial insurance products and marketsConfident in negotiating with underwriters and maintaining insurer relationshipsWorking knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance frameworksProficient in using Acturis (preferred) or other broking systemsCert CII qualified, with a desire to progress toward ACIIExcellent organisational and communication skills, with a proactive mindsetWhats on Offer:Basic salary up to 42,000 (negotiable depending on experience)25 days holiday (plus the option to buy 3 additional days)5% employer pension contributionPrivate medical insuranceLife assurance 4x salaryIncome protectionElectric vehicle schemeCII qualification support and exam completion incentivesLong service recognition and rewardsHybrid working up to 3 days from homeThis is a standout opportunity for an ambitious Account Handler to step into a client-facing corporate role with a business that combines traditional values with a modern, flexible working culture.Interested?For a confidential conversation, contact Daniel Bell at Bell & Co Professional Recruitment.
