Maintenance Operative

We're currently seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our MCR office in Manchester. We are looking to grow our current maintenance team. We're looking for someone who is flexible with their hours and has a range of skills, who can meet the site needs. You will be expected to travel to various locations. Responsibilities Carry out all maintenance repairs, planned preventative facilities tasks and project work as directed in order to ensure that operational support is provided to the establishment at all times. To ensure that all works are undertaken in a safe manner in accordance with good practice and current legislation. To undertake project work as directed by the Project Manager. To communicate effectively and work productively with all other staff. All work to be carried out to the relevant trade standards Ensure Health and Safety policies are adhered to at all times. Undertake duties, as required, that contribute to the effective operation of the prison. To work in accordance with all MCR policies and procedures Requirements Understanding of safety rules Understanding of health and safety regulations Excellent time management Driving license & access to a car Background in construction or building maintenance CSCS card - desirable MCR Benefits 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 with every completed year to a maximum 25 days Your Birthday off Dress down on a Friday TPBN1_UKTJ
