Location: Sheffield Organisation: Hello Education Contract Type: Temporary (potential for permanent placement) Inspire. Support. Empower. Hello Education is delighted to be partnering with a number of Primary Schools across Sheffield to recruit dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for the new January 2026 academic term. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils learning and development. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support to individuals and small groups, helping every child to reach their full potential in a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum. Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, including those with additional learning needs. Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive, nurturing atmosphere. Help prepare learning materials and resources to enhance classroom activities. Encourage pupil participation, independence, and self-confidence. Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to ensure consistent, high-quality provision. Person Specification We are seeking individuals who: Have experience (or a strong desire to gain experience) working with children in a UK-based school setting. Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential). Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners. Hold (or are willing to obtain) a valid Enhanced DBS certificate . Hold a full UK driving licence (preferred).
