Job Description Job Description Control Systems Project ManagerJob Title: Control Systems Project ManagerDepartment: Engineering / AutomationReports To: Engineering Director / Operations ManagerLocation: Office / Site-based / HybridJob Purpose The Control Systems Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering control systems and automation projects from start to finish. The role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet technical and safety requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and manage control systems and automation projectsLead project teams including engineers, technicians, and contractorsDevelop project schedules, budgets, and resource plansOversee the design, programming, and commissioning of control systems (such as PLC and SCADA systems)Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updatesManage project risks and resolve technical or operational issuesEnsure projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policiesMonitor project progress and prepare reports for senior managementEnsure successful system testing, installation, and final delivery to the clientWorking ConditionsOffice-based work with occasional site visitsMay require travel to client locationsStandard full-time working hours with possible overtime during project deadlines
