Civils Operative Location: Sheffield - Covering Yorkshire Region Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 per annum The Role The company are seeking a reliable and experienced Civils Operative to support their growing infrastructure projects. This role involves carrying out high-quality utility reinstatements and paving works, including the installation of modular paving, granite setts, concrete, and bituminous materials. You will work across a range of public realm and construction environments, ensuring that reinstatement activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. Key Responsibilities Carrying out paving and modular reinstatement works to specification Completing reinstatements in york stone, granite, and block paving Ensuring all work complies with specification, safety standards, and permit conditions Working alongside utility contractors to deliver timely, high-quality reinstatements Supporting minor civils work as required, including kerbing and excavation Safely operating relevant plant and machinery on site Skills and Qualifications Essential: Full UK Driving Licence Experience in utility reinstatement and paving CSCS card Desirable: NRSWA accreditation (Street Works) CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) Plant tickets (dumper, roller, excavator) 7.5t Category Licence Benefits Company pension Health & wellbeing programme Life insurance On-site parking Private dental insurance Private medical insurance To Apply If you feel you are a suitable candidate and would like to work for this reputable company, please do not hesitate to apply.
