We are committed to providing top-notch customer care and innovative solutions across the industry, ensuring our customers receive high-quality products and exceptional support tailored to their research needs.About the Role - Manage and optimize supply chain operations across Calibre Scientifics UK distribution businesses, overseeing purchasing teams, forecasting, inventory, and supplier performance. This role drives working capital efficiency, improves availability of mission-critical SKUs, and supports system harmonization across locations.Responsibilities:Develop and manage demand planning.Implement inventory optimization strategies.Monitor and improve supplier OTIF and negotiate lower MOQs.Lead cross-site purchasing processes and standardize buying practices.Coordinate with Sales, Service, and Finance to run weekly S&OP.Establish vendor scorecards and supplier performance reviews.Coach and manage a team of buyers across two sites.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.Full UK Driving License required.APICS CPIM/CSCP or CIPS preferred.Required Skills:Expert level in Microsoft Office, Excel (advanced), and Power BI.ERP experience (SAP ByDesign or SAP Business One preferred).Analytical Thinking and Data Interpretation.Vendor Management and Negotiation.Process Optimization.Team Leadership.Project Management.Cross-functional Collaboration.
