This is your opportunity to make a tangible impact on the future of building safety while working on some of the most important projects in the sector.Responsibilities:Deliver technical presentations to internal teams on Fire Risk Assessments and remedial proposals.Lead and manage consultant teams assessing buildings.Ensure full compliance with legislation, standards, and “Golden Thread” principles, providing clear documentation and QA evidence.Collaborate with technical, construction, and commercial colleagues to challenge and refine designs and solutions.Conduct peer reviews of third-party fire safety assessments including FRAEW PAS9980, fire door surveys, and compartmentation reports.Attend and contribute to design meetings, site visits, and stakeholder discussions.We’re looking for a proactive, detail-driven Fire Engineer with:Membership (or working towards) of the Institute of Fire EngineersStrong working knowledge of PAS9980 FRAEWs and Fire Risk Assessments (Type 1–4).Experience in remedial/refurbishment works to both external wall systems and internal fire safety measures.In-depth knowledge of current and emerging fire safety legislation and regulations.Excellent skills in report analysis, stakeholder communication, and simplifying technical information.Required skills: Analytical mindset with strong report appraisal skills.Ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing deadlines.Clear, confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders.Positive, solutions-focused approach to challenges.What's on offer:Be at the forefront of building safety transformation in the UK.Work alongside industry-leading experts and consultants.Opportunities for professional growth and development with support towards chartership.Make a real difference to residents’ safety and wellbeing.For further information, please apply today!
