Design Manager

Job Description GVR Solutions are currently looking for an experienced Design Manager to join a well established joinery fit-out contractor based in Kent who deliver high-quality bespoke interior and commercial fit-out projects. As Design Manager, you will lead and coordinate the design process from concept through to manufacture and installation. Youll work closely with clients, architects, project managers, and the production team to ensure all designs are practical, accurate, and delivered on programme.Responsibilities of the Design Manager:Manage the design process across multiple joinery and fit-out projectsCoordinate with architects, consultants, and internal teamsReview drawings and technical details for manufacture and installationEnsure designs meet client specifications, budgets, and programme requirementsOversee drawing approvals, revisions, and design documentationSupport value engineering and problem-solving during project deliveryRequirements of the Design Manager:Proven experience in a Design Manager / Senior Designer role within joinery, interiors, or fit-outStrong technical knowledge of bespoke joinery and manufacturing processesAbility to interpret architectural drawings and produce detailed joinery drawingsExperience coordinating with multiple stakeholdersProficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)Excellent organisational and communication skillsIf you are interested in the Design Manager role, then please get in touch
