Traffic Management Operative

Job Description FM Conway islooking for a Traffic Management Operative to join our Traffic Management division based from our Sevenoaks depot.You will join uson a full time, permanent basis, working a mixture of day and night shifts.As our Traffic Management Operative, you will work as part of a team to carry out a range of services including setting up temporary traffic lights, installing, maintaining and removing traffic management.Opportunities for over time and night work will also be regularly available at an industry leading rate.nnThe duties of the Traffic Management Operative role will include:nn- Setting up temporary traffic lights as required and assisting with the diversion of trafficnn- Maintaining and removing the traffic lights within the required time scalenn- Managing the traffic flow at the temporary traffic lights, ensuring public are abiding by lightsnn- Working closely with management and crews, and taking instructions from the management teamnn- Ensuring that sites are safe and carrying out on site assessmentsnn- Taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency, particularly ensuring the appropriate people are notifiednn- To be available on a rota basis for out-of-hours on-call duty if needednnWhat skills and experience do you need?nnTo be considered for this role you will have knowledge of traffic management operations, hold a valid CSCS card andtraffic management Lantra tickets.You must also be able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings and be aware and comply with the provided RAMS.nnWhat benefits will you receive?nnAs ourTraffic Management Operative, you will receive a range of fantastic company benefits including, career and professional development, opportunities for training and further tickets/qualifications, 23 days paid holiday plus bank holidays, company pension and access to our Rewarding Great People discounts and wellbeing platform.nnA brief introduction to FM Conway and our Traffic Management Division nnFM Conway is a business of families with over 60 years experience of creating sustainable and innovative transportation solutions.
