Health Safety Environment Advisor

Job Details:Location: Sellafield, Seascale, Cumbria, CA20 1PGContract: Permanent, Full time, 40hrs/weekAre you looking for a new job where you can make a difference? If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join our team at Mitie as a QHSE Advisor.In this role, you will help make sure our work is safe and follows the rules. You will collaborate with other teams within the contract to improve how we carry out our jobs, reduce the chance of accidents, and make sure our teams have the right knowledge to work safely. You will also keep up to date with safety laws and help guide personnel in what they need to do safely.To apply for this role, you should hold a NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety, Fire, or CDM. You should know how to prepare and understand risk assessments and if your background includes nuclear, construction, or other regulated industries, that would be helpful. An environmental qualification such as AIEMA, knowledge of facilities management or have a familiarity with audits would be desirable, but these are not essential.Ask yourself:Do I enjoy helping others stay safe at work?Do I hold a NEBOSH certificate?Have I worked in a place where safety is very important?Am I ready to learn and grow in a new role?If you answered “yes” to these questions, we would love to hear from you.
