Job Description

We are looking to appoint a salaried GP to join our established and supportive team, working across our 5,600-patient practice in Seaton and our branch surgery in Beer. We are a training practice with established links to the University of Exeter and form part of the well-functioning TASC PCN. The practice supports involvement in research and further postgraduate development, where this aligns with your interests. We aim to provide a sustainable workload through safe working principles and a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment. Professional development is encouraged, and we are committed to creating a stable and respectful working culture. Main duties of the job The post holder will:Provide routine and urgent GP consultations (face-to-face, telephone and online). Undertake clinical assessment, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions. Prescribe safely and in line with local and national guidance. Manage pathology results, correspondence and other clinical administration. Contribute to the management of long-term conditions and preventative care. Participate in practice meetings, clinical governance and quality improvement activity. Support training and supervision where appropriate (as part of a training practice). Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team and PCN colleagues.About us We are a well-established NHS GP practice serving approximately 5,600 patients across our main site in Seaton and branch surgery in Beer, East Devon.
