Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating CNC machinery. This role is crucial for producing high-quality components that meet precise specifications. The successful applicant will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient production processes.Ready to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.Days 7am-5pm Monday to ThursdayDutiesOperate CNC milling machines and lathes to produce components according to engineering drawings and specifications.Set up and adjust tooling, fixtures, and workpieces to ensure optimal machining performance.Perform quality checks on finished products using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometres.Assemble parts and components as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards.Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.Collaborate with engineers and other machinists to improve production processes and resolve any technical challenges.Utilise CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for designing and modifying parts as needed.Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.Experience The ideal candidate will have:Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role within a manufacturing environment.Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex technical drawings.Familiarity with plastics injection moulding processes is advantageous.Proficiency in basic maths for precise measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.Experience with power tools and hand tools relevant to machining operations.Knowledge of tooling techniques for effective production outcomes.Ability to weld is considered a plus but not essential.If you are passionate about precision engineering and have the skills required for this role, we encourage you to apply and become part of our innovative team!Job Type: Full-timePay: From 12.42 per hourSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: In personTPBN1_UKTJ
