Our Scunthorpe site is the largest and one of the most complex, with around 2,000 employees across salaried and hourly roles. The site has benefited from continuous investment, supporting innovation, operational excellence, and employee development.About the RoleWe’re looking for a hands-on Learning & Development Manager to lead and shape the learning culture across the site. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment that needs someone with energy, resilience, and creativity – someone who can roll up their sleeves and make learning happen on the ground.Key ResponsibilitiesThis is a full-scope L&D role with real ownership. You will:Design and deliver engaging factory and management training programsLead and continuously improve the induction and onboarding processDevelop and implement the wider site learning strategySupport new projects and initiatives with tailored training interventionsBuild practical, impactful learning solutions from scratch – we’re looking for a doer, not a textbook trainerAbout YouWe’re after someone who’s confident, visible, and proactive. You should be comfortable leading a team, inspiring others, and turning ideas into action.
