Job Description Occupational Hygiene ManagerNorth LincolnshireMondayFriday | 36.5 hours per weekCompetitive Salary Excellent BenefitsWere delighted to be partnering with a leading UK industrial manufacturer to recruit an experienced Occupational Hygiene Manager, to take responsibility for leading and developing a specialist team, ensuring the effective management of workplace health risks across a complex industrial environment.This is a pivotal leadership role within a well-established Health, Safety & Environmental function, offering the opportunity to influence occupational health standards across the site.Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Hygiene Manager include:Lead and manage the Occupational Hygiene team and associated work plansEnsure compliance with relevant health and environmental legislationOversee surveys, inspections, and monitoring activitiesAdvise plant operations on occupational hygiene compliance and improvementsLiaise with external contractors and regulatory authorities (including the HSE and Environment Agency)Provide professional guidance to senior leaders and directorsReview and enhance internal Health & Safety instructions and systemsSupport the wider H&S auditing processConduct on-site testing where requiredWere keen to speak with experienced Occupational Hygienists who are ready to step into - or further develop within - a leadership role, with the below skills and experience:Hold (or be working towards) the BOHS Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational HygienePossess the P402 Asbestos Surveyor qualification (desirable)Have broad experience across multiple occupational hygiene disciplinesDemonstrate strong analytical capability and a continuous improvement mindsetBe confident influencing and advising senior stakeholdersHave experience leading or coaching small teamsHold a full UK driving licence (UK travel required)Flexibility is important, as occasional out-of-hours work may be requiredThis is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking industrial business with a strong heritage and an ambitious future - where health, safety and environmental standards are taken seriously at the highest level.If youd like to explore this opportunity in confidence, please get in touch for a discreet conversation.
