Decking Groundworks Operative

Location: Based in Scunthorpe - Nationwide travel is required Hours of Work: Monday-Friday (42 hours per week) About Ecodek: Ecodek is a market leader in the manufacture of sustainable wood composite decking systems. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and dependable Groundworks Operative to join our on-site installation support team. This role is critical in preparing customer sites for the installation of our high-quality decking products. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with working away from home, sometimes for extended periods, and must hold a valid UK driving licence. Key Responsibilities: Attend customer premises nationwide to carry out ground preparation works Remove existing decking and clear sites in readiness for new installations Conduct site levelling, basic groundwork, and general labour tasks Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations Represent Ecodek professionally while on site Work collaboratively with the decking installation team to ensure seamless project delivery Requirements: Full UK driving licence (essential). trailer towing experience or willingness to tow is an advantage Previous experience in groundwork, landscaping, or a similar manual trade Good level of physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Comfortable with working away from home as required.
