Development Manager

Position: Wind Developer Location: Preference for Scotland | Hybrid role with travel across the UKA growing player in the clean energy sector is seeking a Project Lead to drive the expansion of its onshore wind initiatives across the UK.Key Responsibilities:Identify and progress new wind energy opportunities throughout Scotland, England, and WalesAssess potential for upgrading or extending current infrastructureTake ownership of grid-related planning: liaise with distribution operators, oversee grid applications, and enhance grid integrationCollaborate with stakeholders and landowners on site control and offtake agreements, including CfDs and PPAsManage projects from early-stage development through to final investment decision, with budgets reaching up to £5 millionCoordinate closely with internal teams across legal, engineering, commercial, and operationsOversee a diverse portfolio of large-scale developments simultaneouslyWhat We're Looking For:Proven track record in renewable energy project delivery within the UKIn-depth knowledge of site acquisition, planning, grid strategy, and commercial structuringStrong interpersonal skills for engaging with landowners, councils, and local communitiesFamiliarity with wind resource modelling and environmental assessments is an advantageInterested?
