Environmental Advisor East Scotland site work Integral Energy Projects Remote 'site-based Permanent - fulltime £40,000 - £50,000Naturally Compliant is a post consent focussed environmental consultancy that seeks to improve construction phase environmental performance. We believe this reduces risk to both the environment and to the companies delivering the projects we are involved in. This role sits within the environmental management / assurance team which supports our clients to proactively manage environmental risk / opportunity and or assess the performance of the delivery scope, identifying trends and ultimately prevent events before they occur.We are a forward-thinking UK company at the forefront of the environmental and construction sector, and we have several opportunities to join our team across the UK.The Role - Environmental Advisor You will play a pivotal role supporting our clients in the post planning consent and construction phases – where there is an opportunity to make a real impact on the project’s environmental performance.Through influencing design, developing and reviewing environmental management project documents, providing site based environmental management and advisory services. And where required providing site based environmental assurance support.Attend the construction site to undertake assurance visits and develop inspection reportsProvide advice to the client on sub-contractor performance and appropriate mitigation requirements / what good looks like.Deliver & Review management documents and RAMSUphold NC / client standards and valuesPromote high levels of performanceLead weekly site environmental meetings to track and performance and discuss requirementsAbout you: Experience: 3+ years site experience in a multi-environmental disciplinary role with project management and onsite construction phase support.Practitioner Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (formally IEMA) or equivalentDemonstrably predominantly construction phase environmental servicesAn understanding of environmental management process during construction, EIA / Consent – Discharge of Conditions – Contractual obligations – Onsite deliveryAn understanding of construction process, contractual awareness, and CDM duty holder responsibilities / Environmental roles and responsibilities.Driving licence / CSCS cardSkills: Great interpersonal and communication skills, with an innate ability to persuade and build solid client relationships.Attributes: Self-motivated, proactive, solution focussed, and happy to work flexibly.
