Job Description Initial Teacher Training Programme Lead From May 2026, we are seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and committed individual to lead on our Initial Teacher Training Programme. Recently validated by the University of Huddersfield, Scarborough Sixth Form College is excited to offer Teacher Training Programmes ranging from level 3 to level 7, in the following qualifications • Certificate in Education • Professional Graduate Certificate in Education • Postgraduate Certificate in Education • Postgraduate Diploma in Education The role of ITT Programme Lead offers the successful candidate the opportunity to develop and grow the provision, raise the aspirations of local people, aid social mobility and support the local and national workforce through teaching individuals to share their skills to train others. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivery, co-ordination and management of the teacher training programmes from level 3 to 7. They will need to be a dedicated and forwardthinking individual who is passionate about the power of education and who is able to motivate and inspire others to train to teach others. They will model current and best practice pedagogy for teaching adults and deliver innovative and creative lessons to trainees/students from a variety of diverse backgrounds who have the desire to inspire, educate and share their skills with others. Grade & Salary Range The successful candidate will be appointed to the national pay scales for Teachers in Sixth Form Colleges, within the range £32,178 - £49,725 (pay award pending), dependent on experience. Main Terms & Conditions The contract will be on a permanent, full time basis, commencing May 2026.
