Role: Metal Polisher / Fettler Pay: 13p/h Location: Sandy, Beds. Polish It. Perfect It. Bring Machines to Life. Are you a skilled Polisher/Fettler looking for a hands-on role in an engineering manufacturing environment? The Opportunity Were seeking aSkilled Polisher/Fettler Engineerto join a small, focused polishing team within a long-established and respected engineering manufacturer. This is ahands-on role, working primarily on stainless steel finishes including satin, mirror, shot blast, and scotch-brite. Youll work both in the polishing shop and on larger machinery outside of the workshop, with occasional customer site visits for equipment installation. What Youll Be Doing Polish and fettler stainless steel components and machinery to a high standard. Work with satin, mirror, shot blast, and scotch-bright finishes. Operate in a small polishing department and collaborate with a team of metal polishing engineers. Work on large machinery outside the polishing shop as required by the size of equipment. Assist with on-site installation and finishing of machinery for customers when necessary. Maintain safe and clean working practices in a workshop environment with extraction systems. What Youll Need Must-Haves: Experience instainless steel polishing and fettling. Skilled in satin, mirror, shot blast, and scotch-bright finishes. Able to work on large machinery in workshop and on-site environments. Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work as part of a small team. Working Hours & Pay Monday: 7.30 am 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm 4.00 pm Tuesday: 7.30 am 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm 4.30 pm Wednesday/Thursday: 7.30 am 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm 5.00 pm Friday: 7.30 am 12 noon (unless working overtime) Pay: 13.00 per hour (depending on experience) Overtime may be available as required.
