HGV Class 1 Driver Nights People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Stafford, Staffordshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for progression. Shifts: Five nights per week between Monday and Sunday Start times between 18:00 and 21:00 Rates of Pay: 18.00 per hour Benefits: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing, consistent work Weekly pay On-site canteen facilities Full training provided Immediate starts available Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties: Complete between 13 deliveries per night using pump trucks Drive HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently between delivery points Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks Ensure all loads are safely and securely fastened Adhere to all UK traffic laws and transport regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers Report any vehicle faults or maintenance issues to management Assist with loading and unloading as required Essential Skills: Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence Minimum 12 months' experience driving C+E vehicles Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card No more than six points for minor offences (no major endorsements) Good level of spoken and written English Excellent punctuality and reliability Strong understanding of road safety and compliance requirements Effective communication and teamwork skills Desirable Experience: Previous experience with commercial driving Experience in multi-drop deliveries Training Provided: Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout employment Apply Today Do Not Miss Out!
