This role is field-based and requires technical autonomy, strong diagnostic capability, and a customer-first mindset.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and mechanical faultsUse manufacturer-approved diagnostic software and the companys service management tablet systemComplete detailed service reports with supporting photographs and accurate time logsIdentify additional service opportunities and proactively highlight machine defects (with financial incentives for leads)Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standardsRepresent the company professionally and build strong customer relationshipsParticipate in ongoing training and development through in-house technical trainingSupport strategic growth by delivering a consistently high standard of service aligned with company valuesCore CompetenciesTechnical Expertise: Skilled in fault diagnosis and repair across plant electrics, hydraulics, and mechanical systemsCustomer Orientation: Builds trust, communicates clearly, and delivers service that meets or exceeds expectationsProblem Solving: Diagnoses issues efficiently and applies logical, effective solutionsAutonomy & Accountability: Manages own workload, prioritises tasks, and takes ownership of outcomesCommunication: Provides clear updates to customers and internal teams; documents work thoroughlyAdaptability: Responds flexibly to changing site conditions and customer requirementsSafety Awareness: Adheres to safety protocols and proactively xjdpvnf identifies risksIT Literacy: Confident using diagnostic software, tablets, and digital reporting toolsQualifications & ExperienceNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Engineering or equivalent (City & Guilds, SVQ)Experience working with construction or agricultural machineryValid UK driving licencePrevious field service experience desirableBehavioural TraitsIndependent and confidentDetail-oriented and proactiveProfessional and approachableCommitted to continuous improvementPlease apply with your CV via the apply button.
