We are looking for two Commercial Lawyers to join our award-winning Legal, Compliance and Data Protection Team (LCDP) on a 12-month fixed-term contract. These roles can be based in Coventry, Solihull, or Nottingham, with flexible hybrid working. We're seeking two proactive, commercially minded legal professionals to support ourEnergy Infrastructure SolutionsandIndustrial and Commercialbusiness areas. This is your opportunity to work on high-profile sustainable energy projects and play a vital role in helping E.ON deliver innovative solutions across the UK, from powering hospitals and ports to collaborating with major industrial clients. Providing in-house legal advice across E.ON's business, focusing on infrastructure and commercial energy solutions. Supporting energy infrastructure projects (including PV solar, wind, heat pumps, and heat networks) for commercial and public sector clients by advising on development, sales, procurement, construction, and operations. Advising on a range of commercial contracts including ESCO, private wire, waste heat off-take, and energy supply agreements. Providing guidance on complex energy supply agreements, data and metering contracts, PPAs, and regulatory changes. Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, product teams, and various business units. Supporting legal risk management while enabling innovation, customer value, and operational efficiency. What we need from youYou are a UK-qualified solicitor or barrister. You have relevant experience advising on construction and/or complex commercial contracts. You possess strong business acumen and a solutions-focused approach. You are confident working independently but also value teamwork and collaboration. You can work flexibly and remain resilient in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You have excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization. You have excellent English written and verbal communication skills. It would be advantageous if you also have Experience in the energy industry or within a regulated or in-house environment. Familiarity with energy infrastructure projects, energy supply contracts, or PPAs; however, support for learning will be provided if needed.
