HGV Class 1/Class 2 Hiab Driver

Thrive Group are looking for a HGV Class 1 or HGV Class 2 Driver with a HIAB licence for our client based in Begwary, Bedford on a permanent basis with an immediate start. Begwary is based near to Wyboston and St Neots (MK44 postcode area). About the company: Our client is a market leading supplier of Merchant Timber, Non-Mechanical Plant and Equipment both for Sale and Hire. Servicing the Construction, Civil Engineering and Utility sectors providing products such as Traffic Management Barriers, Hoarding and Fencing Systems, Temporary Access Mats and Portable Roadways, Height restriction Kits, Trench Covers and Trench Sheets and many more. About the role: Must have experience of securing loads onto flatbed vehicles, using straps, rachets, chains, also experience in operating Lorry Loader. ? Operate a Hiab truck to transport goods safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. ? Load and unload materials using the crane, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo on the flatbed. ? Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. ? Communicate effectively with staff and clients to coordinate deliveries and address any issues that arise. ? Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. ? Experience with either Merchant Timber or Non-Mechanical, Mechanical Plant related products would be ideal but not essential. Salary: 36,000 - 38,000 Overtime aid at X 1.5 over basic hours Bonus scheme for installs Good holidays and Christmas shutdown Hours of work: Days Monday to Friday Requirements for the role: Must hold HGV Class 1 or HGV Class 2 licence Must hold a HIAB licence Ideally you will hold CSCS card, have FLT experience and moffat licence or experience in using a moffat No more than 3 minor penalty points on licence and strictly no DD's, DR's, IN's or TT99's It would also be beneficial to hold a D1+E licence HGV HGV Class 1 HGV Class 2 HIAB CSCS Moffat FLT INDSKEL TPBN1_UKTJ
