Bid Manager - Defence and Security South Cambridge to C75K + Hybrid + Benefits - UK Security Clearance A Bid Manager with a technical Degree and several years experience bidding in a technical service environment (Defence) will take on a customer facing role, with responsibility for managing and coordinating the full bid lifecycle process. The successful Bid Manager will be a key member of the sales team of a leading Technical Consultancy, where youll focus on Defence and Security. Your background should include: A Degree qualification in Electronics, Physics or similar discipline. Experience in government procurement as well as business to business bidding. Proven experience of bidding in a technical services environment, predominantly in Defence. Preparation of commercial and technical bid or proposal documents. Experience of client contact. The responsibilities of the Bid Manager will include: Managing the full lifecycle of bids including support to Contract negotiation. Preparing and delivering compelling bid content and documentation aligned with customer requirements. Management of government frameworks. Liaising with legal teams on bid information.
