As a Carpenter Multi, youll be responsible for providing responsive maintenance and repairs within domestic properties.This opportunity is with a respected and established building contractor in the area, known for its strong reputation in the housing sector and commitment to its workforce. Youll be joining a company that values high-quality workmanship and supports ongoing development in a stable, full-time environment.We welcome applications from candidates with experience in general building trades, including Kitchen Fitters, Fire Door Fitters, or Joiners.As a Carpenter Multi, you will:Fit various types of doors, including fire doorsCarry out first and second fix carpentryComplete all aspects of kitchen installation, including DFG adaptations, ceramic wall tiling, minor plumbing, and decorative worksUse a phone and PDA to communicate and record work effectivelyWe are looking for a Carpenter Multi with:Trade experience within the residential repairs sectorExperience in UPVC repairs and maintenance (doors and windows)Experience in kitchen installation (1st and 2nd fix)Ability to complete basic plumbing repairsNVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (or equivalent)Fire door installation experience and awareness of relevant regulationsA full UK driving licenceWillingness to undergo a DBS check prior to commencing the roleThis Carpenter Multi role is offering the following benefits:Company van and fuel card provided34 days annual leave rising to 36 days (including bank holidays)Company sick pay after 12 months serviceLife insuranceCompany pension schemeUniform and safety equipment providedSalary 36,100 per yearLocation & Travel: Based in Ryde, the role includes a company vehicle, making travel between sites straightforward.
