Job Description At Dalkia Scotland, were delivering smart, sustainable technical solutions that make a real difference. Were now looking for a Quality Engineer to join our QSHE team and help drive quality excellence across our projects.What youll be doingPlay a central role in delivering and promoting Dalkia Scotlands Quality Management System (QMS)Ensure compliance with Dalkia and client quality requirements across the full project lifecycleWork collaboratively with bid, commercial, operational and project teamsSupport multiple live projects, from tender through construction, handover and aftercareDevelop and implement effective project-specific quality controlsMaintain and manage core quality documentation including ITPs, ITFs, QSOs and QHPsSupport project teams with quality planning, documentation and evidence captureAssist with supply chain onboarding to ensure quality expectations are understood and metCarry out site-based quality inspections, desktop reviews and formal auditsUse digital platforms such as Trimble Fieldview to support quality reporting and assuranceManage customer complaints to ensure positive outcomes and customer satisfactionIdentify, record and manage non-conformances, including root cause analysis and corrective actionsMonitor quality risks, trends and opportunities, contributing to lessons learnedProduce clear, evidence-based quality reports for project and QSHE leadershipCoach and train project teams on quality tools, processes and best practicePromote a culture of continuous improvement and right-first-time deliverySupport initiatives to understand and reduce the cost of poor qualityAct as a visible advocate for QSHE values and behaviours across Dalkia ScotlandWhat were looking forProven experience in a Quality or QSHE-related roleStrong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and UK HSEQ legislationCSCS cardConfident working independently and as part of project teamsStrong attention to detail with a proactive, solution-focused mindsetGood communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholdersExperience using Microsoft Office and online CDE platforms (e.g. Trimble Viewpoint, BIM 360)Professional membership (CQI, CIBSE, IET, IHEEM) and training experience are desirableWhy Dalkia?Be part of a forward-thinking, sustainability-led organisationWork on technically interesting, high-impact projectsSupportive QSHE community with opportunities to learn and developCompetitive salary and benefits packageDiversity, Equity & InclusionDalkia Scotland is committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, respected and supported.
