Permanent | Full-TimeWhat's on Offer Basic salary up to 40,296.06 Up to 10% annual bonus Generous pension scheme 25 days holiday + bank holidays Life assurance Employee Assistance Programme Ongoing training and technical development Long-term stability within a well-invested engineering manufacturer The Toolroom Machinst Opportunity We are recruiting for an experienced Toolroom Machinist / Toolmaker to join a highly respected engineering manufacturer in the Leamington Spa area.Working within a well-equipped, in-house Toolroom, you will support both prototype and production operations by manufacturing, maintaining and improving tooling to the highest standards.This is a hands-on precision engineering role offering variety, responsibility and long-term security within a strong manufacturing environment.The Toolroom Machinst Role You will be responsible for producing and maintaining tooling, jigs, fixtures and precision machined components that support manufacturing operations.Key responsibilities include: Manufacture and repair of production jigs, fixtures and tooling Producing precision components to engineering drawings Manual turning and milling Surface grinding Bench fitting including drilling, tapping, reaming and tool assembly CNC turning or milling (experience preferred; development available) Inspection of components using micrometers, verniers and gauges Supporting tooling maintenance within the production facility Collaborating with production and design teams where required About You We are looking for someone who: Holds a recognised engineering qualification or apprenticeship (C&G, ONC, NVQ or equivalent) Has proven experience as a Toolroom Machinist, Toolmaker or Precision Machinist xjdpvnf Is confident using manual machining equipment Has CNC milling or turning experience (or willingness to develop) Can read and interpret engineering drawings Is capable of working to tight tolerances Has strong knowledge of cutting tools, machining principles and materials Works well within a small, collaborative engineering team Takes pride in quality, accuracy and safe working practices This position would suit a skilled precision engineer who enjoys working across the full lifecycle of tooling manufacture and repair within a stable and forward-thinking manufacturing business.
