Senior Site Manager - Royston 78-Unit Residential Scheme | Internals & Externals 18-Month Freelance Position Start ASAP | Competitive Day Rate (DOE) We are working with a well-regarded main contractor who is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead delivery of a 78-unit residential scheme in Royston. The project is a mix of internals and externals and is expected to run for 18 months. Key Responsibilities: Lead site operations across all phases of the project Manage and coordinate a Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager Oversee both internal and external works to ensure quality and programme compliance Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed Report directly to the Contracts Manager and liaise with wider project and commercial teams Requirements: Strong background in managing medium to large residential schemes (ideally 50+ units) Experience running both internals and externals Proven leadership skills managing site teams and subcontractors Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid Ability to work independently and maintain momentum on programme delivery This is a great long-term freelance opportunity with a solid contractor and a well-organised site team already in place.
