Legal Technologist

We’re looking for a curious, tech-savvy problem-solver to help us push the boundaries of how we deliver legal services. You’ll join our centralised technology team, which works closely with our Legal 500 Tier 1-listed real estate team working with tools like HighQ and document automation software to create smarter, faster ways to serve our clients.If you love using tech to make things run smoother — and you’re the kind of person who spots a process and thinks, “There’s a better way to do this” — this could be your perfect next step.**Please note you do not have to have previous experience in a Legal Technologist role to apply**This role is based full time in our Tunbridge Wells office.What you’ll be doingBuilding and improving automated solutions to make our legal processes more efficientDesigning and maintaining smart document templates and collaboration toolsWorking closely with the real estate team members to understand the challenges and drivers in serving their clients and being a bridge for helping other teams to understand and find solutions to meet these needs Working closely with IT, Knowledge, and Business Development teamsTroubleshooting, managing user access, and helping colleagues get the most from our systemsKeeping an eye on what’s new in legal tech, automation, and AIDelivering informal training to help everyone get comfortable with new toolsWhat we’re looking forA genuine interest in how technology can transform the legal worldGreat communication and collaboration skills and an ability to engage team members at all levels Detail-driven and organised, but flexible when things changeComfortable juggling priorities and deadlinesConfident presenting ideas and training othersHelpful backgroundA degree (or equivalent experience) in Law, Computer Science, or another tech-related fieldExperience with platforms like HighQ, Contract Express, Clarilis, or HotDocs (nice to have, not essential!)Strong IT skills and confidence moving between systems.Why you’ll love it hereWork with smart, supportive people who love what they doGet hands-on experience in one of the most exciting growth areas in lawHybrid working options and a culture that values innovation
