You will co-own and evolve go-to-market strategies in partnership with publishing and development leads, driving the overarching marketing vision and positioning across all platforms.Working within the publishing team, you will work collaboratively to create thumb-stopping content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube that showcases our games in ways that make people want to become a player immediately, while showcasing our distinct brand voice across every platform where our audience lives. You will step in front of the camera to become the authentic face of our brand through dev updates, livestreams and the creation of behind-the-scenes content that builds trust and connection with our community. There is also the real chance to turn our Discord servers into truly thriving hubs where players can connect and celebrate our games together, while nurturing genuine relationships that turn passionate fans into true brand advocates.In partnership with the Publishing Director, you will assist in the creation and delivery of integrated social media campaigns across all platforms that amplify our core message, mastering the art of speaking to Gen Z on TikTok and VR enthusiasts on Discord. This role will see you keeping your fingers on the pulse of players, gathering valuable feedback and acting as a key bridge between marketing, development, and production, ensuring community insights, market trends, and platform analytics are synthesized into high-impact feedback loops that shape product design and roadmap. You will get the opportunity to collaborate as a true creative partner with our publishing and development teams to plan marketing moments that matter, ensuring every touchpoint feels intentional and impactful to further bring our games to life and create buzz and anticipation that will make players want to jump in and experience them.MUST HAVE ESSENTIAL SKILLS3+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing and community roles in gaming, ideally the XR industry.Demonstrated experience supporting and leading successful game launches, managing multi-platform campaigns, and thriving in fast-paced environments.Strong understanding of social platforms (In particular Tiktok) and content trends primarily relevant to Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences.Avid VR player and gaming enthusiast with applied knowledge of the VR industry and content landscape.Confident content creator comfortable on camera, and proficient in creating short-form video that drives engagement. You will be the face of the product.Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and community-building platforms (especially Discord).Ability to translate KPIs and community sentiment into actionable campaign adjustments.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a natural ability to connect with diverse audiences and communities.Comfortable using VR headsets for extended periods most days playing moderate to intense experiences.NICE TO HAVE SKILLSFamiliarity with Steamworks, Meta Quest publishing tools, and platform-specific marketing support.Experience working with influencers, streamers, or managing UGC/community-driven activations.Understanding of moderation tools, automated workflows, and Discord bots.Strong copywriting skills for social posts, announcements, patch notes, newsletters, and store pages.Comfortable hosting livestreams, TikTok Lives, AMAs, or player-facing dev sessions.BONUS POINTSYouve launched a game (or major update) across Steam or a VR platform and can speak to that process.Youve managed or built your own successful Discord or creator community.Youve created short-form content with proven viral success or consistent high performance particularly with a focus on TikTok.Youre already known within VR circles or have relationships with gaming creators and influencers.You regularly play VR.WHY APPLY TO SOUL ASSEMBLY?Joining the team now will give you the chance to be a part of a successful and growing team, that is going from strength to strength.
