We are looking for a talented Tyre specialist to join our Client's team based in Royal Leamington Spa. This role would best suit someone who has strong theoretical knowledge of Tyre dynamics and integration. This role requires High CAE Tire models knowledge and their MBS analysis integrationKey Responsibilities:Lead tyre specification and benchmarking during the concept and development phases, ensuring alignment with ride & handling targets and overall vehicle performance.Develop and integrate advanced tyre models (e.g., MF-Tyre, MF-Swift, CD-Tire) within CAE/MBS environments such ADAMS.Perform tyre model correlation with physical test data, including handling, comfort, and NVH, to ensure accurate simulation results across various test conditions.Define and cascade tyre performance targets to hardware and software teams, ensuring full traceability to vehicle-level dynamic attributes.Contribute to tyre test planning, defining test procedures, performance tuning loops, and post-processing analysis for vehicle and component validation.Interpret customer subjective feedback and map it to objective metrics derived from testing and simulation data to guide development decisions.Collaborate closely with chassis, control systems, and test teams to ensure tyre behaviour supports vehicle-level goals for agility, stability, grip, and comfort.Skills RequiredDeep theoretical knowledge of tyre characteristics and dynamics, including transient response, relaxation length, and contact patch behavior.High proficiency in CAE tyre model development, integration, and analysis using ADAMSStrong experience in tyre testing and performance tuning, including on-track testing, indoor rig correlation, and pressure/load influence assessments.Solid understanding of vehicle dynamics fundamentals, including understeer/oversteer behaviour, ride comfort, lateral/longitudinal load transfer, and yaw stability.Strong data analysis skills using MATLAB or equivalent tools for handling simulation and test data.Excellent technical communication and documentation skills; able to convey complex phenomena clearly across technical and non-technical teams.Education RequiredBachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Physics, or a related field.Additional InformationHybrid Working availableThis position does not accept candidates with visa requirements Company BenefitsYou will experience a range of benefits, from well-being to support for self-development.
