As they continue to scale, we are looking to recruit an exceptionalFinance Directorto lead the financial strategy, governance, and performance — and help shape the future direction of the organisation.The Opportunity As Finance Director, you will be the Company’s lead financial officer, responsible for ensuring robust financial systems, governance, and reporting across the group. You’ll be a key member of the leadership team — challenging the way the business works, driving commercial insight, and supporting the growth of new business streams.If you are motivated by making an impact, working autonomously, and bringing commercial thinking to a fast‑evolving organisation, this role offers the opportunity to play a major role in continued success.What You’ll LeadOversee all financial operations, governance, and audit processes across the GroupEnsure compliance with relevant accountancy standards, tax requirements, and statutory obligationsLead the annual business planning cycle and support strategic decision‑making across the organisationDeliver accurate, insightful financial reporting, modelling, and KPIs to enable strong performance and growthManage budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning, including engagement with lenders and investorsProvide financial modelling for M&A and investment opportunitiesAct as Company Secretary for the business and subsidiariesLead and develop the finance team as the function evolvesChampion a zero‑harm, “right first time” culture throughout the organisationWhat You Bring We’re looking for a highly credible, commercially minded finance leader who can operate with pace, influence, and integrity:Degree‑educated with at least 5 years’ experience in finance leadership in a business of similar scale or growth stageStrong commercial acumen and hands‑on approachExperience with financial modelling for projects and business casesComfortable engaging with banks, lenders, lawyers, and senior stakeholdersIdeally experienced in utilities or renewable energy (helpful, not essential)Proven ability to influence, develop, and inspire a small finance teamResilient, persistent, and able to drive improvements with limited supportExperience of working within a small but complex business is essential along with proven stakeholder management experience and extensive project development and delivery is essential.#J-18808-Ljbffr
