Job Description Senior Category Manager Warehouse Relocation Project18-Month Fixed Term ContractMidlands | 60,000 70,000We are recruiting a Senior Category Manager to support the procurement activity for a major warehouse relocation and logistics transformation project.This role will focus on commercial sourcing and supplier management across the key areas required to successfully deliver the move to a new distribution centre.You will work closely with the programme team, operations leaders and project managers to ensure the right suppliers, contracts and commercial frameworks are in place to support the build, fit-out and operational transition.What youll be working onYou will lead procurement activity across several areas linked to the set-up and launch of a new warehouse / DC, including:Warehouse fit-out and infrastructureMaterial Handling Equipment (MHE)Logistics and transport servicesTechnology and operational systemsFacilities and operational servicesGeneral project and operational suppliersWhat were looking forProcurement experience across logistics, warehousing or operational servicesExperience supporting large projects, transformation programmes or site relocationsAbility to run tenders, supplier selection and commercial negotiationsStrong stakeholder engagement with operations, project and finance teamsA practical, delivery-focused approach to procurementThis is a hands-on role within a major supply chain project, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with operational teams and delivering tangible outcomes.
