Job DescriptionWe are working with a well-regarded law firm to recruit a Risk & Compliance Officer to join their team in Royal Leamington Spa. In this role, youll play a key part in ensuring the firms ongoing regulatory compliance, promoting best practice across departments, and supporting internal audit and risk management processes.The firm is seeking an experienced compliance professional with a minimum of two years experience in a legal environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a varied compliance workload in a supportive and professional setting.Some of the responsibilities will include:Conducting audits of policies, procedures and case files across all officesReporting findings and recommending improvements to senior stakeholdersManaging and maintaining compliance recordsLeading Lexcel, CQS and AML audits and preparing for external assessmentsLiaising with fee earners on risk, conflict, AML and SAR mattersSupporting new starters with induction training and ongoing compliance educationKeeping internal documentation current, consistent and accessibleMonitoring updates to regulatory standards and applying them across the businessThey are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent written communication, and the confidence to work closely with colleagues across all levels of the firm.If youre ready to step into a role with real impact and long-term opportunity, wed love to hear from you.
