This is an ongoing role, offering consistent work and a structured four-day week.Key Responsibilities:Working as part of the Waste Collection Team based at Hellaby Depot, you will safely carry out waste collections across the Borough, this will include the collection of all waste and recyclables from household and commercial properties.Drive a refuse collection vehicle on assigned roundsWork as part of a team collecting domestic waste and recyclablesCarry out a variety of physically demanding tasks in all weather conditionsMaintain high safety standards and compliance with operational proceduresYou must be able to walk distances at a minimum of 8 to 10 miles per day as this is a physically demanding role, must be able to push and pull bins of various sizes over various distances and gradients in all weather conditions.It is essential you have a good understanding of health and safety requirements in the workplace and possess the necessary skills in terms of excellent customer care to represent the Council in the delivery of front-line services.You will be required to input daily updates on the Bartec in cab system and report contamination, participation of collections and ensure that customers receive the appropriate information, bin tag, leaflet etc.Requirements:Minimum 2 year of Class 2 (LGV) driving experienceFull UK driving licence with no more than 6 pointsValidDriver CPCandDigital Tacho CardPhysically fit and able to perform manual handling tasksPrevious refuse or recycling driving experience is desirableFree on-site parkingClick to Apply:CLICK TO APPLYcontactSophie Scottat SWIFT Temps Ltd Bradford Team, 01274505825 MOBILE 07935714639Please Note:This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of SWIFT Temps Ltd Driving Recruitment Division, which operates as an employment business.JBRP1_UKTJ
