Works Manager Rotherham £50,000 - £60,000 Elevation Recruitment Group are exclusively partnered with a global bespoke manufacturer who are seeking an experienced and driven Works Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of their metal processing facility. Key Responsibilities of the Works Manager include:Manage, mentor, and develop production teams to ensure high performance, engagement, and accountabilityDrive a positive culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvementOversee all metal processing activities, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are consistently metSet and monitor weekly production plans and collaborate with sales teams to ensure customer needs are metMaintain a strong shopfloor presence to monitor performance, resolve issues, and support team needsIdentify and implement lean manufacturing practices (5S, waste elimination, value stream mapping, etc.) to improve efficiency and reduce costsChampion continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovationManage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentWe’re looking for Manufacturing Leaders with the below skills & experience:Proven experience in a leadership role with a related manufacturing environmentStrong background in people management and team developmentExperience with ERP/MRP systems and data-driven performance monitoringDemonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of accuracy and qualityPractical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologiesExcellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approachFor further details on this role please contact Emma Bartholomew or Jonny Powell at Elevation Recruitment Group.
