Job Description Elevation HR are once again partnered with a Global regulated manufacturing & distribution business based in Rotherham as they look to appoint a HR Advisor on a full-time, permanent basis.Benefits as a HR Advisor include:Hybrid Working - Home working up to 4 days per weekFlexible Start / End Times25 Days Annual Leave plus Bank HolidaysHoliday Purchasing SchemeBonus SchemeCompetitive Pension SchemeReporting into the HR Manager, this is a generalist role with a strong focus on employee relations, providing advice to management on employee relations and supporting annual HR processes for aheadcount of circa 800 employees. As a HR Advisor, your responsibilities will include:Advise managers on a wide range of employee relations and people management mattersLead and support disciplinary, grievance and other ER cases, including complex issuesDeliver annual and in-cycle HR processes such as inclusive recruitment, succession planning, talent reviews and reward planningCoordinate organisational change activity to meet business needs, including restructures, outsourcing, relocations, role design and M&A supportCoach and upskill managers to confidently handle performance, grievance and disciplinary processes, stepping in on more complex cases when neededSupport the HR Manager with short- and long-term workforce planning, using data and metrics to drive performance improvementsMonitor absence trends, identify root causes and manage complex long-term sickness casesThe ideal candidate will have the following attributions:Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practicesExperience in advising managers on employee relations and management issuesBuilding relationships with unions and key stakeholdersHave experience within manufacturing, logistics & distribution, chemicals, engineering or similiar industriesCIPD qualification or working towards thisIf you are interested in hearing more - please apply now.
