With 20,000+ employees worldwide, the company empowers financial institutions and retailers to operate smarter, faster, and more securely.Job Title: Staging TechnicianLocation: Rotherham, S60 1LH Salary: 26,374.40 per annumHours: 40-hour weekAbout the Role:Manual Handling: Perform tasks involving light to medium lifting. Occasional use of ladders (up to 3 metres) required.PC Core Testing: Unbox cores (stored ~2 years), verify specifications, and test using Quicktech Pro.PC Core Pre-Staging: Load live image via existing imaging server (up to 20 cores at once) and configure comms.Packaging & Dispatch: Label cores with site details, package kits into a single box (core + EPP + drill if needed), and generate RICO labels.Stock Control: Monitor and manage stock levels (cores, EPP kits, drills), coordinate retrieval from secondary warehouse, and track all outgoing items.OBF Investigation: Diagnose and resolve Out-of-Box Failures using spare parts from Rotherham or salvaged returns.Returns Processing: Sort returned cores, recover usable units or parts for future upgrades (only Talladegas return to Rotherham; others are scrapped via WII labels).Key Requirements:Strong written and verbal English skills; able to follow instructions and scripts accurately.Confident in using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, to develop and maintain spreadsheets and create summary status reports. Able to operate engineering tools, including multimeters, test equipment, and drill machines.Desktop PC hardware and software loading experience is a plus.
