CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer Rotherham Circa 40k Adept Resourcing are recruiting for a CNC Professional on behalf of our client. A solid role for someone who understands machining, enjoys solving problems, and wants to play a key part in improving shop floor performance. Shift pattern of 8 - 4, Monday - Friday. Temporary for 6 months with strong likelihood of going permanent. You'll work closely with the Mould Shop leadership team, supporting CNC operations, programming, process improvement and production readiness. What you'll be doing: Writing, editing and simulating CNC programs Reviewing CAD models (Inventor / SolidCAM) Supporting prove-outs and new machining processes Improving manufacturing methods and work holding Preparing CNC teams for upcoming work Producing technical documentation (SOPs, tooling & inspection sheets) Providing technical support across the shop floor What we're looking for: Experience with Fanuc / XYZ controls Background in CNC machining, milling & turning Experience with CAD/CAM Strong attention to detail Good communication and organisational skills Understanding of 6S / Lean manufacturing Toolroom apprenticeship (desirable) Benefits: Company pension Cycle to work scheme Life insurance Sick pay On-site parking If you're a motivated CNC professional who wants to improve processes and make an impact, we want to hear from you.
